The Polish Air Force received 27 Su-20s, 6 in 1974, 20 in 1976, and 1 in 1977, which replaced an aircraft which had crashed in 1976 due to a manufacturing fault. All were based at Powidz. The last aircraft remained active until February 1997. Fortunately, a few remain preserved, such as this entirely unmarked 6256.
