Moored on a quiet corner of Pelican Lake in downtown Sioux Lookout. Built in 1989. The source of this Cub lookalike, Wag-Aero, was founded in Wisconsin during the 1960s for the design, manufacture and distribution of kit aircraft and aircraft parts for amateur construction. Available from 1975 onward, their kit aircraft were based on older Piper models, the J-3 and PA-17 two-seaters and a four seat PA-14 equivalent. Mainly through takeovers, the operation developed into a Group of small companies supporting home building and the amateur flying fraternity. This photo is copyright © David A.
