This aircraft, ex BuNo 46521, was the first of a batch of six taken bought by the Netherlands navy. It arrived at Schiphol on 19 January 1951, but crashed four days later when landing at the Aviolanda works in Papendrecht for modifications, and was a write-off. The intended Dutch serial 16-211 (P-211) was transferred to ex BuNo 46581 (c/n 1945).
