Originally delivered as a Northwest Airlink aircraft operated by Compass Airlines in 2008 as N615CZ. Transferred to Delta Connection after Northwest went out of business using the same tailnumber. Later the airplane was moved to Republic Airways, but still operating for Delta Connection, and as such received a new registration, N223JQ.
