Forerunner of the Do 27. Two protypes were built in Spain by CASA in Seville in 1954 and flown to Getafe for testing. This is the second, which had its Elizalde Tigre engine replaced with a Continental O-470, as seen here, in 1955. The aircraft was taken to Germany where production of the Do 27 was set up. Information from Johan Visschedijk who says that the Do 27 P2 returned to Spain in 1956 with an unknown fate, but aire.org indicates that it became D-EBHC in 1961.
