Delivered to the US Navy as R4Y-1 140999 in 1955. Redesignated as a C-131F in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1984. Left in 1994 and registered as N14099, then P4-SSG in 1998 and N8277Q in 1999. Damaged beyond repair at Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in 2011 when it ran off the runway and went through the airport fence while making an emergency landing.
