This An-2R never operated with the Polish AF. The only link to Poland is that it was built there with PZL Mielec. It was delivered to Aeroflot in November 1975 and remained there until July 1992 as CCCP-19736. In 1993, the An-2 went to the USA as N22AN. In 2000, the aircraft ended up in this museum where it first was painted to represent a Soviet AF aircraft (coded 44 white), and then to represent Polish AF "6550" (which never existed).
