On final approach to Prestwick's Runway 30. Operated as an airborne laboratory for atmospheric research by Directflight, a subsidiary of Airtask Group, on behalf of FAAM. Built in 1980 as a Series 100, British Aerospace company demonstrator G-BIAD. Re-registered as G-SSSH in 1981. Re-worked as the prototype Series 300, with a first flight in 1987 as demonstrator G-LUXE in Ansett New Zealand colours. Leased by the Airtask Group in 2004 to be operated as an atmospheric research aircraft for FAAM.
