Hubert Broad in this DH.60 did well in the 6000-km rally of the 1929 Challenge. He was the second to arrive in Amsterdam on 12 August, and the first in Brussels next morning. The pilots were not allowed to finish in Paris until the 14th. Broad ended third in the rally and second in the final classification. Event code H5 worn in low contrast on the nose. G-AAHS sold to Argentina in 1930. R155, LV-OAA. Destroyed by fire in November 1937. Photo from: Noord-Hollands Archief
