First flew in 1947. Stored at Kelly AFB from 1957 in deteriorating condition. Donated to the USAF Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH in 1993 and moved there by 2008 then moved to Davis-Monthan AFB in 2012 for storage in a dry desert environment until it can be restored.
