Now displayed as a weather reconnaissance aircraft, when I first photographed this EC-121 at Pensacola in 1979 it was still carrying the marks of VT-86 with which it operated in the AEW crew training role at NAS Glynco, GA from 1957, moving to NAS Pensacola in 1973 and joining the museum collection later that year This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
