Taken on Charge with the USN with BuNo 46602 in October 1944 and deployed to Brazil, flying anti-submarine patrols over the Atlantic. Placed in store at NAS Litchfield Park, AZ in 1949 and supplied to the Mexican Navy in 1957. Acquired by The Flying Firemen as CF-FZZ in 1966. In 1986 sold as N607CC and delivered to the museum in 1987. Extensively damage by Hurricane Ivan in September 2004 but repaired and now awaits shipment on loan to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
