Until 1972, this F-4D was operated by the 3rd TFW at Kunsan AB, South Korea as 65-0620. In that year, the USA delivered 18 F-4Ds that were already based in South Korea to the RoKAF; this aircraft was one of these and was delivered on 4 December 1972.
