Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37 Ragin' Bulls participated in Air Defender 2023. The Super Hornet was deployed to the German base from Carrier Air Wing EIGHT and its floating homebase USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78). 166867 was delivered to the US Navy in late 2008/early 2009 and flew since with VFA-122, the NSAWC/NAWDC and VFA-81 before arriving with VFA-37.
