On short final approach to Runway 16 at Yellowknife. Delivered new to the RCMP in 2008.Previously temporarily registered as HB-FRI and N917NG. Written off at Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport, Whitehorse, Yukon on 17 April 2023. Collided with terrain within the airport boundary while making an emergency return shortly after departure. Unfortunately, the pilot sustained serious injuries. No others were on board.
