The Vildebeest prototypes had many different engines and got a new type number each time. Here the first prototype is the Type 209 with a Jupiter XIF engine and a civilian registration issued for visiting the 1930 Paris Air Show. A few months later it was successfully tested with the Jupiter XFBM, which became the Pegasus. For export it also got a Hispano-Suiza 12L and floats. The June 1930 date given for that seems to be wrong. Is this Brooklands with those ramshackle hangars?
