Delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 2 October 1997. The AS532U2 was shipped from Antwerp to Willemstad on 6 January 2014 and then started to serve as a forward deployed KLu assett for anti-narcotics operations and additional airlift from the Dutch ABC-islands. The Cougars operated from Hato until August 2015, and returned to the Netherlands with severe corrossion problems. It was declared damaged beyond repair by Logistic Center Woensdrecht and since stored and cannibalized at Gilze Rijen from 2017.
