Delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht on 8 November 1996. It served the NATO Stabilization Force (SFOR) in the Balkans in 2005, hence the titels on the fuselage and tail The Cougar was retired in May 2011, but weas reactivated some months later. The Cougar was still active in 2024 but went to Heli One in Stavanger (Norway) for maintenance where it was last noted in July 2024.
