This aircraft had certainly done the rounds, after USAAF service it operated for the Chinese Nationalist airline CNAC and such iconic carriers as Flying Tigers, California Eastern, Transocean and Riddle. Sadly, in 1981, it met its end in suspicious circumstances when, whilst owned by Southern Aero Trades Inc., it was damaged beyond repair at an unknown location in Colombia.
