Equipped with a live AIM-9 Sidewinder, awaiting a live-firing mission from Tyndall during a small-sclae live-shooting camp. This Ellington based F-4D was withdrawn from use and became a GF-4D ground trainer at Sheppard AFB (TX) from 1989. In 1994 dumped at the base, but saved and donated to Hastings (NE) on 13 December 1994. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
