BN795 was one of four Hurricanes donated to the RAF by the mother of Wing Commander J W Gillan, following his death in action in August 1941. It is seen here with 6 Squadron. In the period this aircraft flew with 6 Squadron it was based in Egypt. BN795 was hit by Beaufighter LZ282 while parked Gebel Hamza on November 9, 1943 and written off.
