The 111th Fighter Interceptor Squadron is part of the Texas Air National Guard. In December 1989, the 111th FIS started receiving F-16C/D Fighting Falcons to replace their F-4Ds. Here 721 is seen at TRyndall during a small-scale live-firing exercise. The old Phantom was moved to AMARC with inventory code FP415 on 9 January 1990.
