This Lightning was delivered to the RAF in June 1964, serving until July 1985 when it went into storage/ground instruction at Birnbrook. The frame was moved to various places around the country for storage or display but has now been in the storage area of the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum/Aeroventure for some time.
