Delivered to Iraqi Airways as YI-AKQ in 1980. Operated for the Iraqi Air Force in Iraqi Airways colours. Returned to the Soviet Union by 1989. Reregistered as CCCP-06188. Converted to an IL-76LL engine test bed. Withdrawn from use at Zhuvoksky in 1990. Scrapped in 2021.
