Westland demonstrator. First flew as G-LYNX then used military serial for ZA500 for weapons firing in Spain in 1979. Broke the Helicopter World Speed Record at a speed of 400.87 km/h (249.09 mph) over Somerset in 1986. This record still stands in 2025. Modified to a Lynx 800 with new 1350 shp LHTEC T800 engines then used military serial ZB500 in 1991. To the Helicopter Museum, Weston-Super-Mare in 1995.
