Delivered to SAS as DC-8-62 SE-DBG in 1968. To Scanair in 1977. Sold as N756UA and converted to a DC-8-62(F) freighter then to Interstate Airlines as N729PL in 1986. To Air Transport International then to Cargosur as EC-230 in 1988. Reregistered as EC-EMX in 1989. To Iberia in 1995 then to Cygnus Air in 2000. To CAA - Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation as 3X-GEP in 2008. Reregistered as 9Q-CHB in 2010. Scrapped at Johannesburg in 2014.
