After the Vietnam War had ended, more than 150 ex POWs were retrained to fly by 560FTS members, which started the annual Freedom Flyer Reunion. Recovering to base as Mach 21, this T-38 wears the POW/MIA flag with Freedom Flyers ribbon, Operation Homecoming badge and squadron badge of the Chargin' Cheetas on the nose.
