This CJ-6 was delivered as SBT-1609 to the SLAF in 2009. It was reserialled to SBT-1162 by March 2012. The aircraft - also referred as a Yak 18) was the sole one with a four digit serial during the 4Aviation visit. The basic trainer is assigned to the 1 Flying Training Wing at China Bay.
