Visiting Coventry for the Royal Show. Written off on 13-Aug-1969, the left wing separated due to material failure after take-off and the aircraft crashed short of the runway in a forest (Hüttrup) near Greven, Germany. Two fatalities. The aircraft had performed a training flight with one touch-and-go before the crash. This photo is copyright © Gordon Riley, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
