Painted as 64-751 / CA in colors of 366th TFW / 480th TFS, to honor Capt. Lance P. Sijan. Capt. Sijan was the first USAF Academy graduate to receive the Medal of Honor. Capt. Sijan (WSO) was forced to leave his damaged F-4C-23-MC 64-0751 on Nov 9th, 1967 over North Vietnam. Although seriously injured he managed to evade capture for more than 6 weeks. He was severely tortured, but never divulged any information to his captors.
