Undated photo of a mishap involving NZ103. It was written off in a forced landing near Christchurch on February 6, 1940. The location of the photo is given as Taupo . The present Taupo airport opened in 1965. Tauhara aerodrome had been Taupo's airport until then. Part of it remained in use at the time of upload for the Taupo Gliding Club. Most of the old Tauhara aerodrome has been redeveloped for horse and motor racing.
