This Tradewinds Airlines aircraft bounced twice on landing at Lusaka, Zambia on 22nd December, 1974 It touched down hard, causing the nosegear to fail. A fire started in the forward lower freight hold, but was quickly extinguished. The aircraft was written off. CL-44 were still being used by Cargolux and it appears that this tail section has been flown to Luxembourg for spares
