Delivered to the USAAF as MA793 in 1944. To the South African Air Force as 5601 in 1948. In a children's playground at Pretoria from 1954. Removed in 1967 and restored to airworthy condition. Flew again marked as PT672 in 1975. Sold as N930LB in 1986. Later marked as EN398. To Rolls-Royce in 1999 then to the TAM Museum, Sao Carlos, Brazil in 2000. Flew again in 2002.
