About to touch down on Runway 30 for an overnight stop at Prestwick. Arrived in the company of Spitfire Mk XVIe G-PBIX after their "Spitfire Formation" had conducted some low level sightseeing in England's Lake District. Displays the markings of 312 (Czech) Squadron RAF which it carried on D-Day 1944 as MK912. Most recently restored at Biggin Hill, flying again in 2024 after the repair of serious accident damage sustained in a 2015 forced landing. This photo is copyright © David A.
