The unit badge is applied on the fuselage above the first-second passenger window. It is nice to appreciate the APU into a dedicated external pod installed on the starboard side undercarriage sponson. At the time of this photo the VIP helicopters of 31 Stormo were operated by 93 Gruppo. The two Sea Kings were frequently used for the transport of the Holy Pope.
