Heavily armed and returning to its parking spot at Kandahar. Apparently, the weapons load was not necessary during this mission. ZD352 was first flown on 22 October 988 and delivered to the RAF as a GR5 on 7 December 1988. It was later converted to GR7 and GR9A. Withdrawn from use in December 2010, stored at RAF Cottesmore and moved to the 309th AMARG in early 2012. The Harrier was used as a spare part for USMC Harriers. It was eventually sold as scrap to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) by August 2023. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
