This is the photorecon version of the Spitfire although it is in reality PA908. It is on display at the National Museum of the USAF in the markings of a 14th Photographic Squadron Mk. XI based at Mount Farm airfield in England. The USAAF 14th Photographic Squadron of the 8th AF operated Spitfire MK.
