Ex USAAF 43-11719 and one of the rarest warbirds flying flying at the time. Although superficially resembling the Aircobra it was a completely new design to correct the Aircobra's deficiencies at high altitude. Performance was inferior to the Mustang, hence the Kingcobra never saw combat with the USAF. It was destroyed in a midair collision with B-17 N7227C on 12 Nov 2022.
