Just 3 days after the photo was taken, on 27th February this SD360 was flying from Edinburgh to Belfast delivering mail when it suffered a double engine failure causing the aircraft to ditch into the Firth of Forth. The aircraft broke up when hitting the water and the crew of 2 did not survive the accident.
