This MiG-29 is painted to commemorate Mirosław Ferić, a Polish fighter ace who was killed in 1942 (70 years earlier) when his Spitfire broke up over RAF Northolt. The insignia on the top side of this aircraft is that of the Polish 303 Sqn with which he served during the Battle of Britain.
