Seen here in the final stage of its restoration... Formerly NC19478, this aircraft was imported into Australia in 1939, and became VH-ACU. During WW II, it was impressed into RAAF service as A39-1. After the war, it was used in the Royal Flying Doctor Service, then operated by Carsair in Papua New Guinea. In 1974, it became part of Wangaratta Air World museum exposition. Currently it is registered VH-AME and has been restored to airworthy condition by Geoffrey Davis, the antique aircraft collector
