Seen from the Puerto de Pollensa beach over the mountains on its return to Mallorca, where it had served with the Spanish Air Force as a Do 24T-3 SAR aircraft from 1944 until 1969. This flying boat was delivered 16 Nov 1944 serialled 65-12, then HR.5-12, then HR.5-4 and finally HD.5-4. It was withdrawn from use in Nov 1969 and delivered to Dornier in early August 1971. They preserved it until it was converted to Do 24TT (later known as the Do 24ATT) in April 1983.
