Photographed on 43 Squadron's flightline just a few days from the unit's disbandment. Despite being one of the RAF's most famous Battle of Britain Fighter Squadrons and having defended the UK's skies during the Cold War, incredibly, "The Fighting Cocks" have not been reformed since.
