This T-28 served with the USN as 140539 until retirement to MASDC. She was rescued from the desert by the Confederate AF and registered N4993Y. After passing through various owners she is pictured here in the colours of VT-5/USS Lexington at the Planes of Fame Museum at Valle. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
