BAe bought this Russian Air Force Hind (ex 06 red) from Latvia and updated the systems and avionics hoping to sell the conversion to many of the Air Forces in the former Eastern Bloc operating the type. However, demand was poor and so this demonstrator languished for a while with BAe before ending up at the Midland Air Museum where at least it will receive copious amounts of TLC.
