VH-AZN crashed on Austral Downs Station on April 26, 1957. Useful parts were removed soon after. The airframe remained where in came down until 1979 when it was recovered to Mount Isa. Parts were used in the restoration of Drover VH-DRD as a memorial to the flying doctor service. Photo from the Ben Dannecker Collection.
