HS-TGZ arrives on runway 25.

HS-TGZ was sold in Denmark as OY-SBM in July 1984.

Ex SE-DBH of SAS and Scanair; converted to freighter 4.89 and stored at Ostend from 2003. Impounded at Lagos as 9G-NHA a year later and scrapped 1.13

Originally going to SAS as SE-DBH in 9.68, this Super DC-8 joined Thai in 3.74; note scrubbed Icelandair titles visible on the roof, after a summer lease. Bought by Sterling in 7.84 (OY-SBM) then reverted to the original Danish reg with SAS/Scanair in 1986. After conversion to freighter in 1989, she joined Aer Turas as EI-CGO then Al-Dawood as 9G-NHA in 12.03, later to Air Charter Express. Impounded at Lagos 4.04 and stored in ex-Aer Turas colours and dirty condition; b/u 1.13

Coming off the line for SAS as "Ring Viking" in 9.68 and going to Thai as HS-TGZ in 3.74, this DC-8 became OY-SBM for Sterling in 7.84 but found her way back to SAS under two years later. The original registration was restored when Scanair took her over in 9.87. Converted to freighter in 4.89 and sold to Aer Turas as EI-CGO. Scrapped as 9G-NHA at Lagos early 2013
