This 742F was delivered to Flying Tiger Line as N810FT in September 1980 and transferred to Federal Express as N633FE in August 1989, and then to American Inter Island on lease from December 1993. From March 1994 the frame flew with Air Hong Kong as VR-HKO and then to Polar in November 1996. It is pictured here undergoing maintenance at the Polar facility at PIK prior to handover as 9G-MKU to MK Airlines a few months later in October. The plane became G-MKEA in October 2007 and flew with them until storage at Ostend (OST) in April 2010 and then scrapped.

Ex Fedex N633FE and Flying Tiger N810FT before that. Went to Polar Cargo as N920FT. To MK Airlines as 9G-MKU and then to G-MKEA. Stored Ostend Apr 2010 and broken up late 2013.

A little teaser this one. Although in Air Hong Kong colours, I believe that it was operating as Federal Express, as I can't find any record of it being leased by Air Hong Kong at the time. It did go to Air Hong Kong as VR-HKO but that wasn't until 28 March 1994.
