Entered by Jim Hazelton and flown by Keith Singh, N8728Y was air race entrant 16. Hazelton sold the aircraft as VH-SRM in June 1970.

VH-FWX was air race entrant No.36. Laconia and Stihl were its sponsors. In 2002 -FWX was reregistered VH-IHZ.

The 1969 London-Sydney air race was just part of a much longer flight for N12421 that included crossing the North and South Poles. It left Australia within days of the race for New Zealand and Antarctica. The pilot was Thor Tjontveit, a Norwegian-American adventurer and businessman who would later be jailed in Norway for insurance fraud. N12421 was sold in Switzerland in 1971 as HB-LGB.

Entrant # 19 in the BP London-Sydney air race. It remained on the register in 2017 despite being a static exhibit of the South Australian Aviation Museum. It had not flown for almost 25 years.

VH-DEZ was entry No.39 in the BP London-Sydney air race. It was sold in Fiji as DQ-FBS in March 1972.

VH-CHX was the Victorian Police Aero Club entry in the 1969 London to Sydney air race. The aircraft was hired from Civil Flying Services. of Moorabbin, Melbourne, for the return trip. VH-CHX was lost at Ballarat on February 29, 1996, when it spun in after its engine failed soon after take-off.

Air race 43. VH-ASL was eventually lost in a crash at Maroochydore, Queensland, June 21, 2001.
