This aircraft was built for the RAAF in 1944 and immediately placed in storage until 1948. It then saw service at Point Cook and Uranquinty until 1952, when it was 'retired'. It was sold and civilianised in 1958, becoming VH-RQA(3), later VH-BQN(2). It was partially destroyed in a bushfire in 1977 but was rebuilt to fly again in the '80s. It is currently with Tiger Moth Joyflights back at Point Cook and is seen here fresh from another rebuild and in a new colour scheme.

K2576 is purely an adopted identity for this Tiger. It is really the former RAAF A17-748 and post-war became VH-AZI, and later VH-CAD, with Australia's Department of Civil Aviation. In 1953 it was sold to the Tasmanian Aero Club and became VH-BSB. In 1956 it was sold to a private owner but damaged in an accident the following year. The remains were re-built and eventually restored to the Register as VH-ADW in 1973.

This immaculate Tiger was originally built by DHA at Mascot with cn 189 and went to the RAAF as A17-188. Somewhere along the line it gained re-build cn T245. Post-war it came on to the civil Register as VH-AXH before being re-registered at DCA insistence as VH-BXH. It later became VH-RVH(2) with the Royal Vic Aero Club, sporting a canopy. Later still it became VH-SEC and is today based at Noarlunga, SA.

'Salvation Jane' at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's National Fly-in. This aircraft was built by De Havilland Australia at Mascot, NSW, in 1942 and was one of a batch to serve with 9EFTS at Cunderdin, WA. It seems to have been a late starter in its civil career, having first been registered as VH-BTM as late as 5 May 1954. It seems to have suffered a crash in 1959 or 60 and to have been resurrected as VH-AUZ in 1994.

Built by de Havilland Australia and delivered to the RAAF on 30 September 1952. Served with 2 OTU then 21 (City of Melbourne) Squadron. Placed into general reserve 1960, then in 1963 approval was given to convert the aircraft for display purposes by removing the wings, tailbooms and engine, and blanking off the wing roots/intakes. The nose section was subsequently used for recruiting purposes. Subsequent history uncertain, but currently on display at HARS.

This aircraft was originally built by DHA at Mascot for the RAAF as A17-417 with cn 592. Somewhere along the line it gained the rebuild cn T185, probably after a crash. It was civilianised in May 1946 as VH-ART. This shot of it was taken at the Kyneton Easter Airshow in the hands of 'Captain Boggles'.

All is not as it seems! This Tiger is a rebuild whose original identity was A17-322, brought on RAAF charge on 14 April 1941. Sold in June 1946, it became VH-AYX. Retired at Alice Springs in December 1965. Rebuilt at Luskintyre and re-registered VH-UTD on 15 December 1995, painted to represent the original VH-UTD which was the first Tiger Moth imported into Australia for the Newcastle Aero Club in June 1935, and named 'Halcyon'.
